“Nope.”
The word is punched from him in a winded breath, as if he's wounded.
And in that moment, the journalist understands what the rest of the Losers know already.
Richie is in love with Eddie.

Silence engulfs the room and Eddie finds himself almost missing the tranquility of death.
“Who did you have a crush on then?” Richie asks, his tone sharp, his face unreadable as his arm drops like an anvil from Bill’s shoulder.
Suddenly, he’s barely a foot away, staring down at Eddie.
Their eyes lock.
"Last time I checked this was your interview, Rich. Not mine."
